Basingstoke & Deane Borough Council identified the need for playful ways to bring quieter stretches to life pedestrianised shopping streets of the Old Town
Working with the workshop team at Co-DB we designed and delivered Play Everyday, a set of 3 playful parklets, created by combining a series of modular ‘play decks’. Each parklet can be used to temporarily introduce early years play spaces to the high street wherever and whenever it's needed! Each module offers multiple different ways to play and, put together, the whole unit adds colour and a playful sense of possibility and fun both near and viewed from a distance.
