The Play Hacks Kit follows the co-design work and exhibits made earlier in the project and is designed to help facilitators run creative early years family sessions in the newly reopened Young V&A, informed by the learning in this extensive, multi-stage project reinterpreting established play theory.
The Kit responds to to themes uncovered in co-design workshops and museum exhibits that include collecting, beauty, shadow and light, large and small. Every element of the Play Hacks Kit fits neatly into its own compartment ready to be discovered and cherished, making unpacking and packing an integral part of play sessions. By separating trays out, whole rooms can be activated for creativity using just a selection of refined resources.
