Logo Design workshop
The aim of the session was to create visual content we could then turn into a logo and visual identity for Friendly Families Nursery. We explored ideas around mark making, colour pallets, motifs, fonts and representation then experimented with different ways to bring all these elements together as a logo.
Participants Lisa and Debbie were really keen on the idea of hands within hands to represent the nurturing inclusive nature of Friendly Families Nursery as a place where young and old learn together. Nature was also a strong theme that came out.

Taking the visual and verbal information collected at the workshop we created a number of different logo proposals for the parents to choose from. They were all displayed in the nursery for a number of weeks and shared on social media so that everyone who was interested could see them, join in the discussion and be part of the decision to pick the final design.
